Cancellation Policy

Effective as of 03/29/2024, the following Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by Chess Potential through our website ChessPotential.com. By accessing our website and utilizing our services, you agree to the terms set forth in this Cancellation Policy.

1. General Cancellation

Customers may cancel their scheduled service without penalty up to 24 hours before the appointed time for service fulfillment.

1.1 Cancellation Notice

Cancellation requests must be submitted through the following means:

Online: Through your customer account on our website.
- Email: Directly to our support team at support@chesspotential.com.

Cancellations will be confirmed by an email or written notice from Chess Potential.

1.2 Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service fulfillment time will be considered a late cancellation and may incur a fee. The late cancellation fee is 50% of the service cost. This fee compensates for the allocated resources and lost opportunity to serve other clients.

1.3 No-Show Policy

If a customer fails to cancel and does not show up for the scheduled service, it will be considered a “no-show.” No-shows will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service.

2. Cancellations Due to Extraordinary Circumstances

Customers may cancel their services before fulfillment due to extraordinary circumstances without incurring a no cancellation fee. Extraordinary circumstances include:

- Serious illness or hospitalization of the customer.
- Death in the customer's immediate family.
- Natural disasters or severe weather conditions directly impacting the customer.
- Government-mandated lockdowns or restrictions.

Proof of extraordinary circumstances may be required (e.g., doctor's note, death certificate, official warning).

3. Refunds

3.1 Eligibility

Refunds will be processed based on the following conditions:

Timely Cancellation: Full refund if the service is canceled 24 hours before the scheduled time.
Late Cancellation: Partial refund after deducting the late cancellation fee.
-No-Show: No refund will be issued.

3.2 Processing

Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within15 business days of the cancellation. Please note that the time frame for the refunded amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on the payment provider.

4. Modifications to Services

Customers may request modifications to their services without penalty up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time, subject to availability. Modifications requested less than 24 hours before service fulfillment may not be accommodated or may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellation by Chess Potential

Chess Potential reserves the right to cancel any service for reasons including, but not limited to, unforeseen operational difficulties or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule their service.
